Kitten

Your kitten will come home no earlier than 15 weeks which allows for essential bonding and learning time for your kitten with their mother. Your kitten will come with TICA registration papers.

Vaccines, deworming and Microchip

All of our kittens will go home with all age appropriate vaccinations and documentation of those vaccinations along with deworming. Your kitten will have a microchip that you will need to register when you bring your kitten home. Summit Rex will be listed as a second contact on the registration.

Lifetime of support

I raise my kittens as if they were my own and I will always be there to answer any questions or concerns you have with your new kitten at any stage in their life. There is a private Facebook group for all owners to share their Summit Rex (and non Summit Rex) cats as I want to see these babies for the rest of their lives!

Kitten package

Your kitten will come home with all of the above including a baby blanket with smells from home, bed, lots of toys, treats, some of their current food and registration/vaccine/microchip paperwork in a folder.

Spay/Neuter

All of our kittens will be spayed and neutered before they go home. This allows the stress of surgery to be put on me and allows the pet owner to focus on bringing home a baby that is ready to live its best pet life.

Health Guarantee

Your kitten will come with a 3 year genetic guarantee (excluding HCM) and a 2 year HCM guarantee. If you would like to know what is included in this guarantee, please reach out and I can provide you with a copy of the contract.

30 days of free pet insurance from Trupanion

Over the years I have found that even with the healthiest genetics, things still happen. I have used Trupanion for 15 years and over the years they have helped save many of my pets. Having insurance provides a safety net in case of injury or illness and helps you provide the veterinary care your cat needs without having to worry about cost driving the needed treatment. Owners will need to activate the policy when they bring their baby home.

Optimal Selection panel

Your kitten will come with a complete panel from Optimal Selection. This panel tests for 45+ genetic health tests plus blood type and genetic traits.
